SD Gas Prices Fall for 13th Straight Day, Below Average Prices Continue in Imperial Beach

After nearly two weeks of declining gas prices, eight of 12 gas stations in or near Imperial Beach have prices below the San Diego County average.

As of 4 p.m. Tuesday, the cheapest gallon of self-serve unleaded gasoline in Imperial Beach or nearby and west of Interstate 5 was $3.53 and could be found at the Arco station on Palm Avenue between 12th and Florida Streets. There is a 0.45 cent surcharge if a debit card is used.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell today for the 13th consecutive day, dropping six-tenths of a cent to $3.72, the lowest amount since Feb. 26.

The average price is 5.7 cents less than a week ago, 7.6 cents
lower than a month ago and 57.2 cents higher than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price
