Preliminary Autopsy Results Find IB Woman's Death Accidental
The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled Vicki Garcia's death as accidental with blunt force trauma to the head. The Medical Examiner's Office is waiting for more information before declaring the results final.
The death of a 57-year-old woman whose body was found Sept. 7 in her Ocean Lane condo has been ruled accidental, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Vicki Garcia's cause of death is currently being reported as blunt force trauma to the head after falling down the stairs.
The autopsy results will not be considered final until toxicology reports have been received and reviewed. The Medical Examiner's ruling could change if new information comes to light, said Tammy Glenn, San Diego County Public Safety Group communications officer.
