Here Comes Trouble: Three Storms Bring Rain Across Region Until Sunday

Southern California, San Diego and Imperial Beach can expect rain from Wednesday evening to Sunday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts bad weather for Southern California and Imperial Beach from Wednesday evening to Sunday as three consecutive storms move through the region.

Tonight there is a 100 percent chance of rain with gusts of wind up to 20 mph. Showers are expected to taper off by midnight. A quarter inch of rain may fall in the heaviest hit regions during tonight's storm, the NWS said.

Thursday morning rain is most likely after 11 a.m. and Thursday evening after 11 p.m.

Temperatures should remain around 50 degrees at night and 60 degrees during the day in Imperial Beach, but snow is expected in the mountains.
