Gas Prices Continue to Rise; Cheapest Gas in or Near Imperial Beach

As of 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, the cheapest gas in Imperial Beach or west of Interstate 5 could be found at Thrifty gas station at the corner of Saturn Boulevard and Palm Avenue where a gallon of regular gasoline goes for $3.77.

According to the AAA Fuel Gague Report, the average price for a gallon of self-serve unleaded is $3.88. That's 1.4 cents more than yesterday, eight cents more than a week ago, 16 cents more than a month ago and about 44 cents more than this time last year.
