As of 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, the cheapest gas in Imperial Beach and west of Interstate 5 could be found for $3.53 at Arco on Palm Avenue between Florida and 12th streets.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose four-tenths of a cent today to $3.671 after falling one-tenth of a cent each of the previous two days.
The average price is 2.1 cents more than one week ago and 4.3 cents higher than one month ago but 5.3 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has increased six of the past eight days, rising 2.2 cents over that span.
