Cheapest Gas in or Near Imperial Beach

As of 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, the cheapest gallon of gasoline in Imperial Beach or west of Interstate 5 could be found at Beach Side Station at the corner of 7th Street and Palm Avenue for $3.75 and  $3.90 if you use a credit card.

The average price of gasoline in San Diego County Monday was $3.94.

That's 2.7 cents less than a week ago, 23.1 cents more than a month ago and 96.2 cents more than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The price of gas rose 19 times in 20 days before a streak of declines began last week.

• $3.77 at the Arco station on Palm Avenue between Florida and 12th Streets
• $3.79 at the Thrifty station at the corner of Saturn Boulevard and Palm Avenue
• $3.79/$3.89 at San Diego Gasoline and Food at the corner of Hollister Street and Coronado Avenue
• $3.89 at the 76 station at the corner of 9th Street and Palm Avenue
• $3.89/$3.99 at the Valero station at the corner of 13th Street and Imperial Beach Boulevard
• $3.93/$4.03 at the Shell station at the corner of Hollister Street and Coronado Avenue
• $3.95 at the 76 station at the corner of Ingrid Avenue and Hollister Street
• $3.97 at the 7-Eleven at the corner of 13th Street and Imperial Beach Boulevard
• $3.97 at the 7-Eleven at the corner of Palm Avenue and 13th Street
• $3.99 at the Shell/7-Eleven at the corner of Saturn Boulevard and Palm Avenue
