Cat Copter: Art, Innovative Tribute or Just Weird?

A man in Holland turned his dead cat into a small helicopter.

After his cat Orville died, Dutch artist Bart Jansen did something many pet owners do—he took the animal to a taxidermist and had it preserved.

But then he did something no other pet owner (that we've heard of, at least) has done. He turned the cat into a helicopter. Or, as he's now known, Orvillecopter.

Jansen said he put propellers on Orville's paws as a tribute, and that by giving the feline flight he was finally “flying with the birds.”

“Oh how he loved birds,” Jansen told the Daily Mail.

The hovering homage can be seen in this video flying low to spook cows.
