Taste of IB, Big Bay Ballroom Saturday

Sample IB businesses and restaurants at the Taste of IB Saturday afternoon, then stick around to dance in Pier Plaza at The Big Bay Ballroom.

At the Saturday from 5-7 p.m., attendees stroll along the beautiful waterfront to enjoy a taste of what each participating business or restaurant has to offer.

There are no street closures. This event is held down Seacoast Drive and up Palm Avenue to 3rd Street.

Attendees with access passes check-in at Pier Plaza, located under the Surfhenge arches on Seacoast Drive. Each ticketholder will receive an access pass which is checked off after you receive your taste/sample at participating restaurants and businesses. Each access pass lists items served at each venue.

You may purchase your access pass for $7 directly at the event or at the Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce located at 805 Ocean Ln.

This is a family event so please bring your entire family. Live music in Pier Plaza. You may want to purchase an access pass for older children who will want to have their own taste at each business.

Your access pass includes a specific sample/taste-sized offering from each participating business.

There is plenty of parking available along Seacoast Drive and Palm Avenue as well as a couple of parking lots located at the corner of Seacoast Dr. and Palm Ave. Another parking lot is located next to the Pier Plaza on Seacoast Drive and Elm Avenue.

Immediately after the Taste of IB, the Unified Port of San Diego will begin their event, with dancing, dance instructors and live music from 7-10 p.m. This event is free to the public.

There is still space available for businesses who would like to participate in the Taste of IB. Please contact the Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce for more information.
