Pier South Hotel and Sea 180 Job Fair Wednesday

To hire staff for Pier South Hotel and Sea 180 Coastal Tavern, Cohn Restaurant Group and Pacifica Companies will host a job fair Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the hotel's deck. The job fair may be moved inside if forecast rain becomes an issue.

Sea 180 Coastal Tavern, the hotel restaurant, will hire 150 people to act as Servers, Bartenders, Banquet Servers, Hosts, Culinary employees, Line Cooks and Prep Cooks, said Cohn Restaurant Group Operations Manager Erin O'Mara.

Under the guidance of chefs Jeff Fisher and Ken Irvine, Sea 180 will provide food for a rooftop patio, banquet halls, room service, a ground floor deck and Sea 180 Coastal Tavern.

People who work at Sea 180 should expect to start work by mid-November, O'Mara said. The hotel is scheduled to open by the end of the year.

Pier South Hotel will hire 30 people to work in positions like Front Desk, Night Audit, Security, AYS Agent, Pool Attendant, Laundry, Public Space, Houseman, Room Inspector/Supervisor, Room Attendants, Bell Person/Concierge, Maintenance, said Corporate Director of Human Resources Regan Gralinski.
