Gas Prices Drop in San Diego County After Thanksgiving Holiday

The average price is still less than one month ago and one year ago in San Diego County.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped one-tenth of a cent on Sunday to $3.635 after increasing 11 times in 12 days.

The average price is 1.9 cents more than a week ago but 2.4 cents less than one month ago and 5.9 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price rose 4.3 cents over the previous 12 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Saturday. The increases began Nov. 26, one day after the average price dropped to its lowest amount since Dec. 28.
