Seventh Annual Relay for Life

This Saturday and Sunday June 9th and 10th the Second Annual Relay for Life will be held at the Mar Vista High School Track.  Mar Vista is located at 505 Elm ST.  Access to the track is along Imperial Beach Blvd.  This is a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society.  There will be tent sites set up for each team as well as Raffle Prizes to be won by making a donation to the cause.  There will be food and drink items available on site as well.  We will have several live performances by different bands throughout the 24 hours of this event. Music will be an ongoing part of this years Relay. Come be apart of our Relay as we CELEBRATE all of our cancer survivors. The Survivor Lap directly follows the Opening Ceremony.  At 9PM join us as we REMEMBER all the ones we have loved and lost to cancer by purchasing a Luminaria bag and putting the name of someone close to you who lost their battle. It is a very touching and deeply emotional part of the Relay.  And lastly learn all the facts about ways to keep yourself and your loved ones from falling victim to this horrible disease as we FIGHT BACK against cancer. This years Relay for Life is the place to be to help make a difference in the lives of people living with cancer. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society and the Programs they offer.
