SUBSURFER Wins 'Garage to Glory' Contest, Concert Thursday Night

As part of the prize for winning the contest, SUBSURFER will open for two other bands Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m.

SUBSURFER has won NBC SoundDiego's "Garage to Glory" contest for the month of February. 

The IB band released their first album We Are Stars last fall with a show at The Salty Frog with another IB band Fuzz Huzzi.

The new album received reviews from San Diego Reader and NBC SoundDiego and songs from the album have been played by various local radio stations.

As part of the benefits of winning the contest, they will open for the bands The New Kinetics and The Beautiful View at the Til-Two Club at 4746 El Cajon Blvd in San Diego Thursday evening.

Free food and drinks 7-8 p.m.

Robin Roth of 91X will host the show.
