See Trailer for Navy SEAL Film ‘Lone Survivor’ Starring Mark Wahlberg
The film, based on ex-SEAL Marcus Luttrell's book, is due in December. It stars Wahlberg as Luttrell and Taylor Kitsch as another SEAL, Michael Murphy.
Lone Survivor, the film based on former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell's book of the same name, is being previewed now – it stars Mark Wahlberg as the author and Taylor Kitsch as a SEAL who has become much honored since his death.
The trailer released Wednesday depicts the camaraderie between the SEALs and the fateful mission that Luttrell, the only survivor – faced in Afghanistan in 2005 while pursuing a Taliban leader.
The film, directed by Peter Berg, also stars Kitsch, as Michael Murphy, Eric Bana and Jerry Ferrara.
The film is expected to be released in late December in Los Angeles and New York and across the country Jan. 10, 2014
