You can find Greg Langarica Broadfoot in the water near the pier just about every day of the week.
Those same waves have been the inspiration for much of the 27-year-old's photography and art work.
"I've been in the salt since I was eight and sailing," Broadfoot said from a boat in San Diego Bay Saturday. "I started surfing when I was 12 and I've been hooked on the waves ever since."
This photo gallery inclues Broadfoot's art work as well as images from New York City and Imperial Beach, as well as shots from surf trips to Mexico and Costa Rica.
Langarica Photography is his registered business' name.
As a painter, he has done custom work for friends and local businesses, including a mural he made in the offices of Dr. Lora Vaquero, owner of New Begginings Family Chiropractic on 13th Street earlier this year.
