Imperial Beach Woman Appears on 'America's Got Talent'
Missy Schaaf will perform with a magic act on the NBC show tonight. Schaaf grew up in Imperial Beach.
Missy Schaaf and The Magic of Seth Grabel will perform tonight on America's Got Talent at 8 p.m. PDT.
Schaff attended and Chula Vista High School and participated in performing arts programs at both schools.
Today, she lives in Las Vegas and performs as a dancer, choreographer, make-up artist, yoga instructor and this summer will dance at the Epcot Center at Disney World in Florida, her father Tom Schaff of Imperial Beach said.

"I love to see her perform. It is her life," he said. "Performing and dancing is her passion."
He said he's surprised to see his daughter on national television, but not that she's talented enough to be there.

"When she believes she can do something, her faith brings her many wonderful things," he said.
Winner of the contest receives $1 million.
Her mother Sharon Jacques graduated from Mar Vista High School with the class of 1972, and has been a school nurse with the South Bay Union School District for 35 years.
