I.B. Posse Make Sailing Easter Bunny Sand Sculpture
The champion sand sculpting team created an Easter themed work of art for the Mission Bay Yacht Club Saturday.
Imperial Beach's best known sandcastle team built a "Happy Easter" sand sculpture this weekend in Mission Bay.
The sculpture was commissioned by the Mission Bay Yacht Club, the team said.
In recent months, I.B. Posse has been engaged in efforts to try and bring a sandcastle competition back to IB.

I.B. Posse won the IB challenge at the U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge last August on the Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego for their Aztec creation.
In 2012 the team won 1st place at the New Zealand Sandcastle Competition.

I.B. Posse won top honors at the U.S. Open Sandcastle Competition in 2011 for a tribute to the American military and in 2010 a tribute to the BP oil spill.
