Grab & Go Kids Planner

Your kid friendly guide to getting out-and-about town.

Each week, we'll give you the lowdown on five great upcoming family activities or events.

If you suffered through the rain the past two weekends, take heart, dear souls. The sun is back again from March 2-8, and there's more than enough to do outdoors this week to make up for lost time.

Your choices, near Imperial Beach and in San Diego, include sports and jewelry making for youngsters, a regatta on the bay and a big day in Ocean Beach, where a new fair is taking place alongside the tried-and-true Kite Festival.
