"I shot at the Imperial Beach Pier 2000 and was looking for another pier to shoot at and we came back here," he said. Executive Producer Charles Jackson, who is from Imperial Beach, was instrumental in bringing the movie to IB, Maine said.

According to a description of the movie that has already been published on IMDB.com, Fearless is "a teenage beach bathing suit musical-comedy, filled with plenty of gorgeous gals and guys on the beach re-imagined from movies of the past Beach Party (1963), Bikini Beach (1964) and Blue Crush (2002)."
Fearless joins a host of professional entertainment productions that shot on location in Imperial Beach in the last 10 years including the movies Act of Valor and Lords of Dogtown and TV shows John from Cincinnati, Secret Millionaire and Wife Swap.
