Bring your family for a fun day at the beach featuring lots of live music, a barbecue, a bounce house and water slide for the kids, a car show and a dunk tank. Candidates for city council seats and mayor, including Mayor Jim Janney, will take turns in the dunk tank.
There will be plenty to eat -- barbecue pork and chicken sandwiches served with beans and potato salad, hot dogs and drinks will be for sale -- and lots of vendor booths to browse at Portwood Pier Plaza. Don't forget your swimsuits, towels and beach toys!
