Astronaut Gummy Bears and More New Art on Bibbey's Shell Shop Walls

A space landscape complete with moon, spaceships, planets and stars was recently added to the walls of Bibbey's Shell Shop.

A bear riding a pineapple space ship, Godzilla fighting lasers, a Cow-a-bunga cow trying to jump over the moon and a lot of other fun, detailed art have been added to the walls of Bibbey's Shell Shop on Seacoast Drive in recent weeks.

The constantly changing art on the shop's exterior has made Bibbey's Shell Shop one of the most recognizable businesses in Imperial Beach.

Recent additions were made by The Art Kids of San Diego County.

One part of the living mural that has attracted a lot of attention is a bird-like animal alive with eels, waves, a whale, ships and other animals and objects born out of the mind of artist Eddy Berducido.

"Besides the shark that probably gets the most attention," Bibbey said, referencing a large great white shark many locals and tourists pose with for pictures.
