Veterans Day Ceremonies Around San Diego

A short list of Veterans Day events to attend around San Diego.

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, the Armistice was signed and World War I ended. Now, we continue to celebrate the holiday, at the same time every year, in honor of all veterans of war.

Because Veterans Day is a federal holiday, most businesses will be closed, including schools. Take the time off and use it to honor the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us and our freedom.

Local VFW, Fleet Reserve Association and American Legion branches have no events planned, but here are some nearby Veterans Day celebrations.
