San Diego County Gasoline Price Drops To Lowest Amount Since Jan. 2

The average price is 3.6 cents less than a week ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped today to its lowest amount since Jan. 2, falling 1.3 cents to $3.623.

The average price is 3.6 cents less than a week ago, 19.2 cents lower than one month ago and 21 cents below what it was last year, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price could dip below $3.50 per gallon before the end of the year "provided prices keep dropping at a similar rate," said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
