QnC is made up of Cindy Danan and Quentin Yates, who met as students in the Culinary Arts/Culinary Management program San Diego Mesa College.
Qnc are vendors at farmers markets in UTC, Golden Hill and Point Loma.
They learned how to make beignets when volunteering at Gator By the Bay, a zydeco festival held every year on Mother's Day weekend.
The recipe for lumpia comes from Danan's mother and was added to the menu when customers said who said they needed something to compliment sweet bigenets.
Beignets are fried then sprinkled with powdered sugar and/or cinnamon.
Lumpia come with sweet and sour sauce.
