Free Flu Shots and Community Resource Fair Saturday

Imperial Beach Health Center is giving free flu shots and health information to residents this weekend.

This weekend, residents of our beach town can visit the local health center for which means less coughs and sniffles this winter. The shots  will be available on a first come, first serve basis and will be given to those four years and older. Pregnant women are welcome to come get free shots, too, to help keep you and baby flu-free this season.

Aside from the free shot clinic, there will also be a community resource fair. Both are sponsored by Assemblymember Ben Hueso, the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency South Region and the . The resource fair is a chance for residents to see the numerous available health services. There will be free blood pressure screenings, free massages and plenty of information on health issues and health care that affect legislature.

Companies like and Edible Arrangements will be on hand for free samples. Local nonprofit organizations will be available to distribute important information on the programs and resources available to the community.
