Cleanup/Nature Walk at Effie May's Trail in the Tijuana River Valley

WiLDCOAST and I Love a Clean San Diego are partnering up for a cleanup/nature walk in the Tijuana River Valley at Effie May's Trail on Saturday, October 6th from 9am-12pm as part of the 3rd annual Tijuana River Action Month.

Registration link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dEZVMG9pdDRGSHhtbzJkZlJPZmFlU0E6MA#gid=0

Volunteers have the opportunity to break up their litter and debris removal throughout the event by going on guided nature walks, looking for native birds and plant life. Join us as we not only cleanup but enjoy the amazing outdoor recreational resource of the Tijuana River Valley!

Everyone is welcome to participate! No special skills necessary to volunteer – only a willingness to get your hands dirty.

What to wear/bring: Volunteers must work in long pants and boots or sturdy shoes. We also recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, hats and reusable water bottles. We encourage volunteers to bring their own cleanup supplies, yet we will have gloves, buckets, water and snacks on hand.
