What’s on Your End of the World Bucket List?

Some people are convinced we all have a week left to live. Whether or not you believe the purported Mayan prophecy, what would you do if you knew you only had a week left?

Suppose the Mayan apocalypse prophecy that the world will end in a week is real. What would you do if you had one week left before the end of the world?

Would you travel? Find a long lost love? Go on some sort of binge? Tell your boss what you really think of them? Learn how to cage fight?

What would you do in IB? Eat a dozen Stardust Donuts? Walk your dog on the beach? Listen to the ocean?

Please share your mini-bucket list in comments, but keep the ideas that would result in felony arrest to yourself.

Southwestern College professor Mark Van Stone said the doomsday prediction that the world will end in a week is a misinterpretation of ancient Mayan text by German scientists.

Like NASA scientist Dr. David Morrison, Van Stone has been busy this year trying to calm nerves and prove the claims of apocalypse wrong, but despite all evidence to the contrary, some still believe.

Strikingly similar to national data, last year 13 percent of IB Patch readers said they believe the world will come to an end Dec. 21, 2012.

On a horrorific day such as this you post this kind of crap, I was going to say that you should be ashamed of your self but see from this really stupid posting that you have no shame or compassion or heart or very few of what makes a human being

I agree with Nickolas, the 13% that believe scare me! My "bucket list" for 12/21/12 is to go see my friend's graduation from Nursing School.

Lighten up folks........ I would eat some Kettle Corn from the IB Farmer's Market, sit in my easy chair and continue to play Texas Hold'em on my laptop, until the end. HA.....

Jon, I am sure that you know my answer to that, Live each day so you won't be embarassed to die ! It is really that simple ! Any day could Be your last day, and any time spent worrying about it is just subtracting that time from that which you ARE ALLOTED !
