Easter Sunday Services Guide for I.B.

For Christians, Easter is a celebration of the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. Celebration turns to sorrow on Good Friday, marking the crucifixion of Jesus. Two days later, joy is restored with Easter Sunday, the day Christians believe Jesus triumphed over death and was resurrected, offering eternal life to all.

Sunday services will be held at these times:

Calvary Chapel I.B.: 9:30 a.m. The church meets at the Boys & Girls Club of Imperial Beach, 847 Encina Ave.

First Assembly of God at 10:45 a.m.  The church meets at 576 Ninth St.

Imperial Beach United Methodist Church at 6:30 a.m. in the courtyard and 10:30 a.m. worship. Church meets at 455 Palm Ave.

Mar Vista Baptist Church at 11 a.m. at 888 5th St. and at 1 p.m. at Iglesia Bautista De Imperial Beach at 1220 Elm Ave.

The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. (healing service). Church is at 808 13th St.

St. James Lutheran Church at 7 a.m. at the I.B. Pier and 10 a.m. at church, 866 Imperial Beach Blvd.

Upper Room Pentecostal Church at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday school and 10:30 a.m. for morning worship services. Church meets at 631 12th St.
