Cheapest Gas in or Near Imperial Beach

As of 3:30 p.m., the cheapest gas in Imperial Beach or west of Interstate 5 today can be found at the Arco station on Palm Avenue between 12th and Florida streets for $4.23.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose three-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $4.381, one day after falling three-tenths of a cent.

The average price is eight-tenths of a cent more than a week ago, 51.3 cents higher than a month ago and 40.8 cents greater than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has increased 42 of the last 48 days, while decreasing three days and staying unchanged three days during that span.
