Cheapest Gas in (or near) Imperial Beach

As of Tuesday at 8 p.m., the cheapest gas in Imperial Beach and west of Interstate 5 is the Valero San Diego Gasoline and Food at the corner of Hollister Street and Coronado Avenue for $3.89 in cash and $3.97 if you use a credit card.

Closely behind is Beach Side Station near 7th Street and Palm Avenue for $3.89 for a gallon of self-serve unleaded and $3.99 if you use a credit card.

Prices are confirmed weekly, but may fluctuate on a daily basis. Some locations charge extra for credit card purchases unless noted here.

The next cheapest gas is $3.93 can be found at the Thrifty Food and Save on Hollister Street and Palm Avenue and the Arco near Florida Street and Palm Avenue. If you pay with a debit card at Arco, each purchase comes with a 50 cent surcharge.

The most expensive gas in the area, like last week, remains the $4.31 at Shell/7-Eleven station on Hollister Street and Palm Avenue.
