Cheapest Gas in (or near) Imperial Beach

As of noon May 10, the cheapest gas near Imperial Beach could be found at the San Diego Gasoline and Food Station on Coronado Avenue and Hollister Street at $3.99.

As of noon Tuesday, the cheapest gas near Imperial Beach and west of Interstate 5 is at San Diego Gasoline and Food at the corner of Hollister Street and Coronado Avenue at $3.99 for a gallon of self-serve unleaded and $4.07 if you use a credit card.

Prices are confirmed weekly, but may fluctuate on a daily basis. Some locations charge extra for credit card purchases, unless noted here.

In second place, with the cheapest gas in Imperial Beach city limits is Beach Side Station with $4.05 if you pay cash and $4.15 for credit.

The Arco on Palm Avenue between 12th and Florida Streets sells a gallon of self-serve unleaded for $4.07 if you pay cash. If you pay with a debit card, each purchase comes with a 50 cent surcharge.

The Food Store at the corner of Palm Avenue and Hollister sells a gallon of unleaded for $4.09.

  • $4.23 at 7-Elelven at 13th Street and Palm Avenue.
  • $4.25 at Shell station at the corner of Coronado and Hollister.
  • $4.25 at the 76 station on Ninth Street and Palm Avenue.
  • $4.26 at the Valero gas station on Imperial Beach Boulevard and 13th Street.

 The most expensive gas for a station near Imperial Beach and west of Interstate 5 is at the Shell/7-Eleven at the corner of Palm Avenue and Hollister at $4.37.
