Sopranos and Baritone at Nearby Opera Concert Sunday

Community Center for the Arts will showcase the talents of local, young opera singers at their "Songs for the Summer" Community Concert Series performance Sunday in nearby Nestor.

Hosted by the Community Center for the Arts (CCFA) at Nestor United Methodist Church, the show will feature three young opera singers who have performed with the La Jolla Symphony and San Diego Opera.

The benefit concert will showcase the voices of young opera singers Michelle Law, Anthony Martini and Genie Tjahjadi, some of whom have worked with the La Jolla Symphony and San Diego Opera.

CCFA is an organization which offers various art classes including photography, art, music and drama courses at Nestor United Methodist Church at 1120 Nestor Way in San Diego near Coronado Avenue.

The concert is free but donations will be requested to continue the student's education in opera as they attend the Opera Academy of California in San Francisco this summer.
