Young Bald Eagle spotted in IB today...?
Do you know - or can you tell by my horrible pictures - if this is a Bald Eagle?
I'm not a bird watcher - or even good at recognizing uncommon birds - but during my elementary years growing up at the base of the Point Conception foothills - where a family of four Bald Eagles lived behind us - it's one uncommon bird I do recognize.
That's why this morning - even while traveling at 65mph - this bird caught my eye, it looks just like the one of the young eagles that I grew up with.
Do you know - or can you tell by my horrible pictures - if this is a Bald Eagle?
If it is a Bald Eagle - it's the national bird and national animal of the United States of America - it also appears on the national Seal and currency, it's probably contemplating a move to Mexico to avoid the government shutdown, loss to its credit rating, and further embarrassment to its noble and proud image.
