Two Bizarre Robberies at 7-11's in IB

Thanks for taking this one down quickly law endorsement - keep up the good work!

According to San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Fred Magaña, San Diego PD arrested a man early today on suspicion of committing the bizarre back-to-back holdups in Imperial Beach.

Last night, around 11:30 p.m. the man - who appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance - entered the 7/11 at 657 Palm Ave., argued with several people inside and outside the store, then head-butted a man and stole his cigarettes and wristwatch before fleeing in a vehicle.

Then - approximately an hour later - the man was reported to be arguing with a transient outside the 7-Eleven at 1311 Palm Ave., where he allegedly took two large cases of bottled water from a water display outside the store without paying - and fled in a vehicle described as the one used to flee the earlier robbery.

The man, whose name Sgt. Magaña said has not been released, was arrested near 3100 Coronado Ave. after he and his vehicle description were sent to other law enforcement in the area.

Thanks for taking this one down quickly law endorsement - keep up the good work!
