SDSU Hosts Forum on Higher Education Recruitment Event

SDSU’s College of Extended Studies will host the Forum on Higher Education Recruitment event presented by jobelephant.com from 8 am-5 pm Friday, April 25 in the SDSU Extended Studies/Gateway Centers.

This unique event is created for faculty and staff recruiters at all levels including deans, department chairs, search chairs, human resources, and academic affairs (AA)/equal employment opportunity (EEO) officers. It will feature industry leading experts providing case studies, roundtable discussions, and tips and strategies for ensuring you have access to the widest and most targeted pool of talented jobseekers.

Sessions will include recruitment tools and strategies including job boards, diversity outreach, the role of social media, and new trends in technology. Presentations include:

  • Higher Education Employment Report
  • Hot Issues and Trends in Higher Education
  • Diversity Recruitment Advertising Within a Budget
  • Applicant Tracking Systems for Higher Education Recruitment
  • Mobile Advertising: The New Frontier
