Local Teagan Taylor Band Performs in Imperial Beach
While the Teagan Taylor Band is getting ready for their summer tour in Rochester, NY, the local Imperial Beach group will be performing at local fundraisers, summer concerts and Festivals in our own community.
The Teagan Taylor Band, led by twenty-two year old vocalist and cornetist Teagan, performs original songs, and covers from a diversity of genres. The group’s artistic desire is performing and producing music that, while paying homage to jazz traditions, is relevant to modern songwriting, arranging and production standards.
With songs spanning moods of jazz, indie, hints of rap, R&B, rock and neo-soul, the eclecticism of their sound and popular songwriting element in their music captivates audiences with their own unique sound that's complex yet catchy, and cutting-edge.

Their first album “I Can’t Complain” has 3 originals and 8 standards in their own arrangements. “Wonderland,” a songwriting project, has 10 originals demonstrating their masterful eclecticism of original compositions. Teagan's third all-original album “Hello” effortlessly blends many styles creating their unique sound.
Both "Hello," and “Wonderland” were nominated for 2013 and 2012 Best Jazz Album category by the San Diego Music Awards.
