In case you haven’t seen it from space yet, the undisputed heavyweight champion of Christmas lights near IB are on display again at the corner of Atwater Street and Coronado Avenue.

Stand by the home for more than five minutes in the evening and you're bound to see people who came to the street specifically for Arcelie Climkscales' lights.

Climkscales told Patch last year she had more than 35,000 lights in her front yard that costs hundreds of dollars a week in electricity to maintain.

Do you know some great Christmas lights in or near IB? Any that contend with the champ?

The Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce's annual Light up IB will be judged this Friday, December 20th from 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm. Please have your lights on during this time. You can call the office at 424-3151 to make sure you are on the list. We drive up and down every street and cul de sac to make sure we do not miss anyone. Thank you
