A parcel of property that had been purchased with RDA money years ago is being cleaned up. The former house had asbestos shingles and apparently the soil had been contaminated. Work crews finished removing contaminated soil on Saturday. A project is planned for 10th street make-over.
There was a beautiful mature pepper tree on the corner that we had worried about saving. As you can tell...IT'S GONE NOW. Save this tree...TOO LATE!
