Our loved and cherished, Luis “Luisito” Valdez, Jr., was born June 20, 1983 in San Diego, California to Rosa and Luis Valdez.
Luisito was the first born son, and second child, of four siblings. From the time he was born, he was full of life and spirit, bringing many happy memories to his parents.
He was raised in San Ysidro, CA and graduated from Southwest High School in 2002. After graduation, he obtained his truck driver’s license, just like his father, and began a successful trucking business. He was happiest person on the road while he working on his Peterbilt semi-truck.
He died a day before Thanksgiving in an accident while driving his truck in Arizona.
Luis touched everyone he encountered with his infectious smile and sense of humor. His big heart allowed him to be kind and genuine to everyone he knew. He adored his mother, father, siblings and fiancée. He was their beloved protector, big brother and partner.
His friends and family were proud of Luisito. It is with great pleasure that the family can testify that Luisito was seeking to change his life by looking for God’s presence.
Through scripture, sermons and worship, Luisito was able to receive the Lord in his heart and his life. All of his accomplishments and memories will live on forever with us.
