The Beachfront BBQ will be held Oct. 8, said Kim Palkovic with the Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Banners hanging on Palm Avenue and Imperial Beach Boulevard incorrectly stated the event would take place Oct. 10 for about 24 hours, she said. Both have been corrected.
In its 12th year, the Beachfront BBQ will showcase classic custom cars, a jumper for kids, live music and of course BBQ.
The event is being sponsored by more than a dozen organizations or businesses which include the City of Imperial Beach, Ocean View Church, All-Phase Development and Mason's Auto Clinic.
