Mass Communication Specialist 3rd class Kevin Gray from Imperial Beach is a photographer currently aboard the USS Ronald Reagan.

These are pictures he took Tuesday during a food and supplies drop-off by the Black Knights of Helicopter Squadron Four in northern Japan.

Sailors and aircraft from the Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group are currently taking part in Operation Tomodachi to aid victims of a 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that struck the country March 11.
